Fine Art Albums

There really is no substitute for seeing your photos beautifully presented in print! Rather than letting your photos gather digital dust, choose a physical product you can show to your friends when they come over for dinner, and one day to your children and grandkids. My luxury fine art albums are hand-made in the UK using the very best materials to last a lifetime and beyond: the ultimate way to present and preserve your wedding day memories.

Handmade fine art wedding albums

Professionally designed and crafted in a fine-art matte board and using gallery-grade, HD pigment printing techniques, these bespoke albums are simply stunning! Images are printed directly onto the page and each double spread opens out flat with an almost invisible crease. This allows for photographs to be displayed across the spread which, combined with edge-to-edge, full page printing capability, enables unrestricted layout design.

A wide selection of premium covers and personalisation options are available to choose from to tailor the finished look to your taste.

In addition to an investment in quality craftsmanship, be assured that you are also making an ethical choice. Our supplier ensures that all their paper and card materials are either recycled or from sustainable sources. Their cover leathers come via suppliers committed to sustainability and the ethical treatment of animals, and they only offer carbon neutral shipping.

PREMIUM FINE ART PAPERS

Acid-free and with a beautiful matte finish, the fine art paper used for the spreads comes in two different styles to suit your preference. Using the same high-quality paper, sheets are either bonded back to back to create a 400gsm page with a nice flexible feel, or an additional archival substrate is added for a substantial 600gsm thicker finished page.

ADDITIONAL SPREADS

My “Full Wedding” albums comprise 25 spreads for a total of 100 – 120 photos. This number will allow all parts of the day to be featured, however should you wish, you may add additional spreads to include more photos overall. Many clients view their album as the ‘final product’ and the main way to enjoy their photos after the wedding. Therefore it’s a regular choice to add some extra spreads to ensure that all the key shots are included. Spreads may be added up to a maximum album size of 50 in total.

COVERS - LEATHER

Soft and luxurious natural leathers of the finest quality and durability, these are sourced from manufacturers with strict animal welfare policies.

If you love the natural and imperfect characteristics of leather to come bursting through then choose from Latte, Sandstone, Dusk, Graphite or Truffle. These semi-aniline leathers have character and soul. For those who enjoy the look and feel of nubuck leather, then look no further than Cityscape, Moorland, Mountain Moss and River. All of the other colours are fully finished, beautifully soft leathers with a consistent colour and tone.

BLIND DEBOSSING

Also known variously as embossing or stamping, uppercase letters are pressed into the cover for an elegant, classic presentation that’s wonderful to the touch.

GOLD / SILVER FOIL DEBOSSING

Silver or gold coloured metallic foil is imprinted into the cover for an eye-catching enhancement. Available on most cover materials in uppercase characters only.

COVER PRINTING

The latest digital technique in personalisation involves printing directly onto a material in either black or white ink. Available on most cover options.

22 CARAT GOLD

For the ultimate in luxury, 22 carat gold leaf can be applied to leather covers. Unlike debossing, it sits flush to the surface of the cover, with a subtle sparkle.

BESPOKE MOTIF

Add a bespoke logo to your cover, for example from your wedding stationery. You will need to provide a 600dpi JPG image in black and white to work from, which can then be applied via any of the available personalisation options.

CLAMSHELL PRESENTATION BOX

Taking its name from an old book-binding technique, a clamshell box takes the luxury and presentation of a fine art album to a new level. It makes bringing the album out for viewing feel like a special occasion each time and helps to protect it for decades to come.

The boxes have an elegant structural flow with a hinged lid connected to the base. They can be made in your choice of material from the cotton and linen ranges though I strongly recommend Cotton Pebble or Heritage Linen Parchment as tried-and-tested neutral colours that will compliment pretty much whatever material you’ve selected for your album cover. The box is finished with a soft-close magnetic clasp. Cover printing in black or white to match the text on your album cover is included as standard.

PROCESS FOR ORDERING

1. Choose your images

Image selection is nice and easy; I will send you a gallery link to choose photos for inclusion.

My recommendation is that you start the process with your photo selections and pick the photos you definitely want including. This will dictate the number of spreads you’ll need in your album.

A Full Wedding Album @ 25 spreads generally allows for a wedding day to be well presented from start to finish. For the 25 spreads included with this album, please choose 100 images. I will select a final few to allow me to put together a coherent and balanced design.

If when making your selections you have settled on more than 100 images to definitely include, you will need to order additional spreads, basing your numbers on an extra spread for every 4 photos over 100. e.g. if you have selected 120 photos, you will need to order 5 additional spreads to accommodate the 20 extra photos.

To streamline the process, you may request for me to curate the image selection in full.

If you’ve only selected your absolute favourite images and have ended up with a smaller number then a Highlights Album may be the best fit for you. If selecting this option, please choose the full 50 images for inclusion.

2.Complete an order form

Please complete the album order form to order your album. I’ll email you back with a total price for you to approve.

Once steps 1 and 2 have been completed I will proceed with your design which you can expect to receive for review within 3 weeks. You may request amends as required to get it to the point of looking perfect.

When you’ve signed off the final design I’ll send it to print which takes around 3 weeks (potentially longer October – December). Through this time you will get a couple of text / email updates to keep you appraised of progress and to let you know the expected delivery date.
